We are delighted to have been named Primary School of the Year 2017 at the South Lanarkshire Council Sports Awards! Please visit our Twitter feed to see some great pictures from the night! Well done, everyone! A special thank you to Miss Neilly, Lesley Scanlan and the pupils involved in our Health and Sports Group. A huge thank you too to all the staff, coaches and volunteers who helped us achieve this fantastic award!

Please remember school is closed on Friday, 25th and Monday, 28th May for the May holiday. We re-open on Tuesday, 29th May at 8.55am.

Please remember that school closes at 2.30pm on Thursday, 29th March for the Spring Break. We re-open to staff and pupils on Monday, 16th April at 8.55am.

FAIRTRADE STALL (added 9.3.18)
Our Fairtrade Group will be hosting a Fairtrade stall for pupils every lunchtime next week from 1.45-1.15pm. 

ADVERSE WEATHER (added 3.3.18)
ALL SLC schools are hoping to open as normal on Monday. The roads and pavements around our school have been gritted. Mr Campbell has also worked hard to make sure that the playground is accessible from Melfort Road and Luss Brae. Hopefully, there wil be no more snow. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday! ALL SLC Schools will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, 1st March 2018. 
The Hamilton Burns Competition is
cancelled tonight and will be rescheduled.
We will reschedule our World Book Day activities and inform parents/carers of a new date as soon as we can.

Due to adverse weather conditions South Lanarkshire Council have advised that ALL schools will be closed today.

At the moment, South Lanarkshire Council is expecting all schools to open as normal tomorrow, however, there is an amber alert in place for some areas of South Lanarkshire and the situation may change. Please keep an eye on our school website for any updates before school and check South Lanarkshire Council's website and/or Twitter feed @SouthLanCouncil, in the first instance, for more information.

P2 and 3 READ WRITE COUNT BAGS FEEDBACK (added 5.2.18)
The Scottish Book Trust are keen to gather feedback from parents about the P2 and 3 Read, Write, Count Bags.
